Dr. Preda graduated from the University of New South Wales.
She was a General Surgery Trainee on the South-Western and North-Eastern Sydney networks and completed the program in 2013 when she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
In 2014 she undertook subspecialty training in breast, endocrine and surgical oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. This is a high volume department of surgery with one of Australia’s most well established breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery units.
In 2015 a 2nd year of subspecialty training was completed in Perth, Western Australia. As one of the busiest breast units in WA a broad exposure to malignant and benign breast disease was encountered.
Both the South and West Australian experiences entailed comprehensive multi-disciplinary care of patients from pre- operative assessment through to post-operative care and longer term follow up.
Conditions managed include benign and malignant conditions of the breast as well as thyroid and parathyroid disease. From 2018 and 2020 she worked as a VMO at Liverpool Hospital and continues working at Breast Screen Northern Sydney/Central Coast.
