Dr Michael Soo is a colorectal and General Surgeon specialising in minimally invasive endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques. Dr Michael Soo is the first and currently only surgeon in NSW offering a minimally invasive surgical treatment for Pilonidal disease – Endoscopic Pilonidal Sinus Treatment (E.P.Si.T). He has attended many international conferences and workshops to perfect this technique.
His medical degree was awarded by The University of Sydney. His basic surgical training was undertaken at Westmead Hospital, before entering into Advance Surgical Training at Prince of Wales Hospital. He is now a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), a member of the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery of RACS. He is a member of General Surgeons Australia (GSA) and accredited with Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies.
Dr Soo is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
